They often have objectives tied to family responsibilities, and want a game plan to accomplish their goals. They are serious, driven to improve, and open-minded. They are also unpretentious, true to themselves, and down-to-earth. It is a privilege to work with them.
Concept
The idea of 360Blue Financial Strategies emerged from a determination to deliver a higher level of excellence to clients. We sought to offer the best products, technology and strategies available. Our purpose was to provide quality financial advice that was not only beneficial, but also truly independent, conflict-free, and pressure-free.
In the spirit of this philosophy, we completed an extensive evaluation of our current circumstances and ways to elevate an already thriving practice. The sole criteria was how to generate a significantly better value for clients. After considerable research, we reached the conclusion that in order to best position clients financially, we must first re-position our practice organizationally.
During this time, our team was invited to associate with United Planners Financial Services of Scottsdale, Arizona. United Planners was a well-managed, independent, and forward-thinking broker-dealer with an excellent record of positive growth. United Planners aligned with our values and the best interests of clients.
History
We trace the genesis of our practice back since 1980. The business developed a loyal following over the years, and grew as a result of referrals and by doing the right thing. We have always cared for and respected clients for who they are as people first.
Iris Sagrado and Glenn Stears began their professional association at Waddell & Reed in 2005 while working on a special assignment. Iris and Glenn both came from family business backgrounds.
In 2008 Iris and Glenn formed a financial advisory practice known as “Team Sagrado-Stears” with Waddell & Reed as their broker-dealer. Jonathan Popp joined the team as a financial advisor during this time.
The Move
In September 2017 we successfully transitioned the practice to United Planners as our new broker-dealer.
We also established new offices in Hinsdale, Illinois.
One of the immediate benefits of this conversion was access to an open architecture product platform. Through United Planners, the registered representatives at 360Blue were able to offer a broad array of planning and investment strategies, indispensable in today’s competitive and rapidly changing environment. In every sense, we did exactly what clients would rightly expect of us. We listened, we improved, and most importantly, we affirmed our allegiance to clients.
Brand Identity
At this time, Iris and Glenn also changed their team name to “360Blue Financial Strategies” to better reflect their distinct business philosophy. The brand “360Blue Financial Strategies” stands for an open, collaborative, and empowering mode of thought. It embraces the use of next generation technology, and exemplifies the purity of intent which characterizes our relationships with clients
The logo “360Blue” is emblematic of our core values and principles. It encompasses the totality and depth of our perspective. It symbolizes reliability, stability, and responsibility. 360 Blue is reflective of the experience clients have come to expect from our team. Finally, it illustrates a commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to adapt to the changing needs of clients.
